Okay, More on Politics

I am just going to preface this and say that I am a moderate, I don't vote along party lines. So I am not trying to persuade anyone, but I am going to say that all the McCain bashing by the Republicans is a little ridiculous. Here is a great article on the subject of Republican McCain bashing. He isn't the same as Clinton, just look at his record on abortion, and for me that is enough said. If you care to look more at their voting record and the issues, here is a great site. http://www.ontheissues.org

If you have the "Evangelical hatred" of the Clintons, I would urge you to read What's So Amazing About Grace by Phillip Yancey. There is a very good chapter towards the end on Bill. They are still people, and made in God's image, no matter what bone you have to pick with them. Can't we Christians treat all people respectfully?

Sorry for the rant. Can't we all just get along? The question is rhetorical, I know the answer.

Happy Birthday Dave!

Dave is 28 today! He loves to watch and play baseball, and since a picture of him playing fantasy baseball would be pretty boring, you get a picture of him catching last year. We love you Dave/Daddy!

Annie's Blaming Game

As you may have guessed, Annie is now a little terror. She is 18 months old, and loves to color on everything but paper. This wouldn't have been a problem before, as I had almost enitrely washable art supplies, but as the other girls get older, the art supplies that follow don't all come in washable. Anyway, so after Annie goes on her reign of terror and I am scolding her, one word comes from her mouth..."Sarah." At least is sounds just like the word she uses for Sarah. But it is hillarious because Sarah is the least likely canidate for coloring on walls, dishes, or books. So either Annie doesn't get that she has to blame it on someone believeable (I won't say which girl that would be), or she isn't saying Sarah. I'll let you know if we figure it out.
